Help Center

Quick answers for real gardens. No fluff.

Tag Scanning

What to scan

Scan the front of the nursery tag. Florafiles saves the key care details so you are not relying on a faded label or a shoebox of scraps later.

Best results

Use bright light, hold the tag flat, and fill the frame. If text is blurry, re-take the photo before saving.

Garden Map and Sectors

A garden is spatial. Florafiles lets you organise plants by sectors so your archive mirrors how you walk the property.

Global base

Your wide-angle shot of the whole property. Use it as the top-level orientation layer.

Sector photos

Close-ups of beds and zones. When you open a sector, the background changes so you can place plants quickly.

Rain Log and Watering

Use Rain Log to mark a sector as watered by nature. It keeps your records clean and helps avoid overwatering.

When to log

After meaningful rain, log it against the sector it covered. You can then skip that watering cycle with confidence.

Why it matters

Overwatering is one of the fastest ways to kill healthy plants. Rain history keeps you honest.

Inventory Export

Greenhouse members can export a CSV manifest of their plants for record keeping, insurance, or sharing with a landscaper.

Tip

Export is designed for accuracy. If you want pretty share graphics, use your photos and growth history.
